Favorite composer: Vivaldi... for many reasons unknown, even to me. He moves me.

Favorite music genre: Opera. Without a doubt. It has everything music is. Simply put.

Favorite poet: Robert Frost. He was simple. He didn't waffle on and on in flowery terms. To the point. I admire that.

Favorite singer: La Divina Callas. Maria Callas. Brilliance all bundled up in one beautiful woman.

Favorite person(s), ever: My mother and my grandmother. They are the most beautiful people I've ever known.

Favorite sibling: Robyn. ;)

For almost 10 years people have been asking, "Heather... where did you get the name Zingela?". There's no hidden story here, though... When I bought the Broadway Soundtrack to The Lion King, I'd heard the song "Zingela". I loved it... I also decided to look up the meaning, and the closest I could find was a Swahili word 'zingela', meaning 'to hunt'. Hehe... I loved that! Thus Zingela was born. The lyrics are:

Q: Who the hell are you?

A: I am Heather, Queen of all things humorous and odd... I have two gloriously beautiful children. If you would like to see photos of my children, you will have to write me at heather@zingela.com... I no longer post them on the internet, for fear of the sickos that frequent it. (you know who you are)

Q: What the hell are your hobbies?

A: I am rather eclectic, but my passions are music, photography, music, graphic design, music, crocheting (no comments, please), Opera (wait, that's music), Theology, and pretty much everything out there... I'm a jack of all trades, definitely. I sing for fun, too... hehe

Q: Age? Sex? Location?

A: I'm on the 5th anniversary of my 29th birthday. Yes, I've had sex. I'm sitting at my computer (in Illinois, very near St. Louis).

Q: What do you look like?

A: Most would say I'm of humanoid form, some would say not... if you're that curious, visit my ever so My picture page. ;)

Q: Where did you go to high school? (this is a very popular St. Louis question)

A: Texas... Burnet, to be exact. Never heard of it, have ya...
